Dr. Peggie W. Koon is a strategist, author, change leadership and management consultant and coach with more than 40 years of experience in change leadership, management, IT and OT systems, with specific expertise in process control and automation for both discrete and continuous processing in the automotive, aerospace, nuclear reprocessing, insulating products, textile, and media industries.
Dr. Koon is the former CEO and Founder of Leading Change, LLC and former Vice President of Audience at Chronicle Media, Morris Publishing Group, Morris Communications, Augusta, GA (USA).
In 2014, Dr. Koon became the first Black and second female President of the now 75 years old International Society of Automation (ISA| www.isa.org), a global organization of 40,000+ automation professionals.
And in 2015, Koon was the Chair of the Automation Federation (AF | http://www.automationfederation.org).
Dr. Koon is currently the President-elect of the Alumnae Association of Smith College(AASC). She will assume the role of President of the AASC in July 2021.
She is the author of the book, Leading Change, A Practical Guide for Change Agents and more than 40 published technical articles and papers on leadership and change management.
